In Monterey in California, she announced the launch of her GIFFT wine label in partnership with Scheid Family Vineyards. Her debut was as a filmmaker with the short film, THE GOD WHO VIEWS, with Nicole C. Mullen. The duo co-wrote the music for the film. Gifford has a number of charitable organizations for children such as Childhelp and the Association to Benefit Children. These two groups gave birth to Cassidy's place and Cody House which was named in honor of her kids. Gifford is a committed humanitarian, and has received an honorary doctorate in labor relations at Marymount University.
